Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat sets the stage this Sunday evening for a thrilling clash between the Moroccan national team and their Tanzanian counterparts, as part of the round of 16 of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, hosted in Morocco through January 18.
This match could see the return of Achraf Hakimi to Walid Regragui's starting eleven, after he began the previous game against Zambia on the bench.
The Atlas Lions are expected to kick off with the following lineup: Bono, Hakimi, Aguerd, Masina, Mazraoui, El Aynaoui, Saibari, Ounahi, Brahim, El Kaabi, and Ez Abde.
This encounter marks only the second time these two sides have met in the knockout stages of the Africa Cup of Nations, following their group stage showdown at the 2023 edition in Côte d’Ivoire, where Morocco triumphed 3-0.
It's worth noting that the winner of this match will face off in the quarterfinals against the victor of the South Africa vs Cameroon clash.
