Sadio Mane is Senegal's hero once again, but this time for a slightly different reason.
The former Liverpool and Bayern Munich forward won his second Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) title on Sunday, after the Teranga Lions defeated hosts Morocco in a controversial final.
In the dying moments, Senegal's head coach, Pape Thiaw, tried to take his players off the field after Morocco were awarded a penalty in the 98th minute when defender El Hadji Malick Diouf brought down Brahim Diaz.
After the Senegalese players went to the dressing room, Mane was seen entering the room and then leading them back onto the field, with the help of goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
