‎Arsenal Got injury blows after FA Cup win

Ben White and Riccardo Calafiori are both doubts for Arsenal's trip to Wolves on Wednesday.

‎Having briefly been close to a fully fit first-team squad last month, the injury problems have picked up again for the Gunners.

‎They were added to on Sunday with White and Calafiori, putting a slight negative note on an otherwise perfect afternoon for Arsenal with a 4-0 win over Wigan in the FA Cup.

‎Calafiori had been set to start the match but pulled out after the warm-up and had to be replaced in the starting lineup by Bukayo Saka.

‎White, meanwhile, went down with ten minutes remaining and had to be replaced.

‎Calafiori] and Ben are the only doubts," Arteta said.

‎"We have to wait and see in the next 48 hours how things develop."

‎Martin Odegaard missed the match due to a knee issue he picked up after coming on at half-time against Brentford on Thursday night.

‎The Arsenal captain completed that game, but was seen limping out of the stadium after the match.

‎"Martin we'll have to wait and see," Arteta said.

‎"He picked that knock on the action when we conceded the goal [against Brentford] and he wasn't fit for today."

‎Arsenal are more short of options in midfield than Arteta would like, with Kai Havertz out with a muscle injury and Mikel Merino in a race to feature again this season after foot surgery.
