Mbeya City is facing a major challenge of having poor football infrastructure such as stadiums for training but also stadiums for football games.
The CCM Memorial Stadium in Sokoni has a major challenge of having a bad pitch (playing area) which has made the teams in the region move the stadium frequently.
But also training grounds are a challenge, for example Tanzania Prisons uses the Prisons stadium for them, it cannot be too much of a challenge, maybe it is being used more due to being used by the mother team such as (Men's team, U20 and U17 youth teams as well as the women's team)
Mbeya City and Kengold have at different times been using the Isyesye FC stadium which during the rainy season is not much different from a rice field.
This is an opportunity for government institutions, private and even universities to see the opportunity to invest in sports fields
