Iyanii – Mali Safi
Through his song “Mali Safi,” Iyanii expresses admiration for his partner in the highest way possible by calling her pure, perfect and value less. To him, she is “mali safi,” or rare this means that her value is greater than all of the other people he has known.
Iyanii goes on to discuss how real love and respect are present in the relationship. For example, he emphasizes to his partner that she cannot possibly have any faults or mistakes and that she is deserving of being treated as a gift from God and protected and treasured as that.
